Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) is a non-glycosylated protein of 66 kDa. Albumin is the main carrier for low molecular weight compounds such as fatty acids and hormones.

• Roles:

Protein standard, stabilizer and blocking or buffering agent

• Applications:

Blood grouping, cell culture or immunoassays (ELISA, RIA…)

• Our method:

Heat Shock Method, the least denaturing method on the market, prevent the excessive use of organic solvents, 3 hours at 65°C

• Source of our bovine plasma:

Collected from French healthy cattle declared free from BSE disease in its clinical forms

Especially developed for producing RPF supplement (Rabbit Plasma Fibrinogen) in addition to Baird Parker agar

• Source of our bovine plasma:

Collected from French healthy cattle declared free from BSE disease in its clinical forms

A complete line with a ready-to-use solution and a lyophilized powder, with different specifications.

The 5% frozen sterile solution enables to save time and cost of solubilization and filtration (0.2 µm).

This product line is obtained from human plasma which was defibrinated. For improved stability and to facilitate filtration, we also offer a reference which was delipidated in addition.

SEQENS IVD Defibrinated Plasma is a cost-effective substitute to off-the-clot serum.

Immunoreactivity is minimised with AB blood group serum because this serum is free of antibodies to type A and B antigens.

The natural coagulation process of human blood, without anticoagulants only from male donors of blood group AB.
